  • Currently seeking a highly motivated, talented, and dedicated experienced Service Technician with strong electrical and mechanical skills. Requires strong customer service skills. Successful candidates must be able to provide complete filed support to our customers including installation, wiring, troubleshooting, service and customer training.

    Candidates must have strong problem solving skills pertaining to mechanical, electrical, PLC controls and HVAC.

    Responsibilities:

    • Installing and starting up UV LED, Arc Lamp UV Curing Systems &IR & Air Impingement Drying systems at customer facilities around the world.

    • Troubleshooting customer problems both in the field, over the telephone and via the internet.

    • In-House (factory) testing of UV LED, Arc Lamp UV Curing Systems, IR & Air Impingement Drying systems.

    • Assist in building UV LED, Arc UV & IR & Air Impingement Drying systems on the production floor.

    • Keep detailed records of the systems upon which you perform service and/or support.

    • A strong team player who welcomes the opportunity to assist others and is willing to perform a variety of tasks.

    Requirements / Qualifications:

    Education Preferred:

    Degree or training in electrical engineering or engineering technology.

    Experience Required:

    • Must read electrical schematics, have experience with PLCs and HMIs.

    • Knowledge and use of the following test equipment: digital multimeter with Amp Clamp, Digital Temperature meter.

    • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical hand and power tools.

    • Ability to train operators and maintenance personnel in operation of equipment.

    • Good written and verbal communication skills.

    • Strong customer service skills.

    • Good organizational skills and strong attention to detail.

    • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office software.

    Travel: Willing and able to travel throughout North America and, on occasion, worldwide. A bonus would be if you enjoy the travel as well!! Estimated travel time ranges between 25% to 50% and will never exceed 75%.
