Prime’s IR-AK DIGI-ACTION DRYER
Provides maximum drying flexibility for water-based and oil-based chemistries on a wide range of substrate types. The drying chamber consists of three independent drying zones: one IR ACTION cassette and two Hot Air Knives “HAK3” drying zones. These three zones work seamlessly together to form the ultimate drying team that efficiently, and cost-effectively, delivers maximum drying at top process speeds. Each HAK3 zone excels at scrubbing the surface free of moisture.
Customized IR energy delivery and HAK3 air movement work together via Prime’s PREMIER Controller to deliver uniform drying power over the entire substrate ensuring uniform high-speed drying from narrow to mid-web width applications at top process speeds while substantially reducing energy requirements.
Prime engineered the IR-AK6 DIGI-ACTION Dryer to ensure that printers are able to dry these difficult Primer Coats & OPVs at top press speed.

Prime's IR ACTION Dryers match automated controls with most current electrical devices to optimize IR ACTION Dryer's performance and ensure ease of installation and service. Output power controlled via analog signals or fieldbus connections. Soft start control feature gradually raises current until emitter reaches steady state. Emitter connections protected with small, easily manageable power cross-sections. Highest quality solid state relays provide 1% variable power output.
